Great and overlooked 7″ by Offbeats. Their LP is worth to check out too. Listen to the “One Two Three Four” in the beginning of “In A Rush”. Brilliant. Still after more then 20 years I still can relate to lines like:”All the fans who idolise. All the fascist in disguise. All the hypocritical lies. Music, sports and politics. Ninety-five percent is shit. It’s all just cheap entertainment. Everyone and everything. I wish they would go away.” from “Go Away”.

good ep, but not this bands best stuff. check out the recent(from like 1 year ago)”dumb looks still free” cd om Smog Veil for all their earlier comp tape & comp LP tracks that totally SHRED!!! these guys, along with THE PLAGUE, made growing up in the neo-redneck suburban wasteland of Cleveland’s far-east side not so hellish.
I’ll look into that com Wedge! The Plauge! Is that the same Plauge that did a split with the swedish band Rovsvett?
Does anyone know if this record came with a lyric sheet?
Thanks
No lyric sheet but the inside of the cover has them printed.
And Peter, any chance of fixing those dead links? Id like to have the whole EP on mp3.
Yeah a repost of this great 7″ would be appropriate.
Any chance of posting early Jonas Brothers?? Before they were a pop rock band….
still hangin’ on an update on the dead links, fanx…
I traded this for some old Swedish punk…..was it wise? The Problem LP ! Tops, but I wish I had hung on to this too……
a repost of this would still be appropriate and highly appreciated…
haha! i traded that one to you in the late 80s! still don’t regret having given it away and good to see you still like it.
You traded this to me Roswell47? Then who are you?
All these tracks (and everything this band ever did outside of their not-so-great major label LP) can be found on Smog Veil Records’ “Dumb Looks Still Free” CD compilation. Great stuff.
I’m an idiot, didn’t read the first comment here. Sorry.
