The Crowd - Modern Machine 7″

Another long time fave that I was certain had appeard as a 7″ in the early 80’s. Suprise suprise when I found out that “Modern Machine” had only appeared on the “Beach Blvd” comp. LP BUT Posh Boy had released a 7″ in the early 90’s containing two tracks from the comp. The Crowd is still active and you can check them out at: www.thecrowd.com. Haven’t heard another track from them that can match “Modern Machine” though.

The only single that came out in the late 70’s/early 80’s with a paper (as opposed to board) sleeve was PBS 3, the Simpletones California b/w I Like Drugs single. In the 90’s we could only afford to do black and white paper sleeves for the re-issues. If you have a paper sleeve for Social D. or Agent Orange, it’s a German facsimile from the late 80’s.
