Short and intense songs from this Yugoslavian punk-pioneers. They also released a couple of 7″ and a 12″. It´s a pity you can´t understand what they´re trying to tell you…

I sat my croatian friend down and made him translate the record for me!
I am very much interested in pekinska patka’s lyrics to publish some in a spanish fanzine called “Insulta y huye”, so if you could share them with me i would be very grateful. Thanks
I am interested in these lyrics as well, if anyone has them could you please share? Thanks!
lyrics translations would be neat! I have a basic concept of understanding polish but that doesn’t get me far when trying to comprehend serbian lyrics, haha. :D
they were serbian
yes, but the croatian and the serbian languages are not very different. :P and yeah, they’re great!
Looking around I found these 5 videos too… interesting stuff :)

pekinska patka was band from novi sad, serbia, yugoslavia.they put out  Biti ružan, pametan i mlad 7″  (Jugoton 1979), Bolje da nosim kratku kosu 7″ (Jugoton 1980),  Bila je tako lijepa 7″ (Jugoton 1981),Plitka poezija LP (Jugoton 1980),Strah od monotonije LP (Jugoton 1981).singer was school professor, today lives and works in canada.guitarist srdjan left band to form “kontra-ritam†ska band.album “strah on monotonije†(fear of monotony) is masterpiece, different then other releases.it’s more in synth/gothic/dark type of thing.excellent!
pekinska patka was/is only one of million great punk/hc/crust band that existed/exist in former yugoslavia.
p.s.i have one extra copy of this record.
Yes, i like their more joy division-esque gothic/wave side a lot. :D
Btw, do you still have the extra copy. Would you sell it?
I was guitar player in the band :-)
I didn’t participate in recording Plitka Poezija ’cause I joined the band right after it was recorded. I played the promo tour for it and recorded second album ;-)
I am behind the Fatalamanga web site.
Check out videos with my band LUNA I formed after Patka broke up.
Enjoy my friends
PS
