Here’s the first 7inch from “Knugen Faller” since “English Paul” so eagerly wanted to hear it. The nod to older swedish punk is most hearable in the title track. It’s great no doubt about it but the chorus is maybe an ode to “Dagens Ungdom”? I’m really fond of Syliva Sates voice. Clear yet agressive. “Knugen Faller” also happens to have some great lyrics so it’s time to learn swedish.

ok, i think i have a new favorite Swedish Punk band… “Arad Vare Lorentz” is the clear winner to my ears. that track sounds very STALIN influenced…GREAT STUFF!!!

I’ve been listening to Knugen Faller for about a year and they’re GREAT. Gorilla Angreb is another killer recent female-fronted punk band to check out. Their s/t 7″ is TITS.

Peter, this is really great stuff, thanks a lot for turning me on to this! :) I’d certainly buy their records if I ever saw them but unfortunately never see things like this (and/or/if I do, don’t know what I’m looking at more times than not.) Will keep my specs open for this band…

Glad you like it Jahwn. Sweden have some pretty amazing bands going on at the moment: Regulations, The Vicious, Nitad, Bruce Banner, The Blinds etc etc.

This is hyped to death and 2 years old. Thank you for all the great KBD-era music, but i just dont see how Knugen is relevant to the other content of this website. Keep up the great work on the other stuff!

Democrati is a killer track, too bad the song isn’t posted up. I heard they’re working on a full length right now as well
