Suicide Squad - I Hate School 7″

A somewhat overlooked punk rock 7inch from down under. Both tracks are great with low budget production(read great) and a screaming girl behind the microphone. When listening to “I Hate School” there’s no doubt that they actually mean what they say. Here’s the story behind it:”I think Mark wrote it and wanted to write about something kids hated so he asked his or Con’s sister what she hated - “I hate school” she said.” Read some more!

Great record, my copy is a re-issue from the late 90’s on the Small Axe label, I wonder if any of the Suicide Squad became teachers like the guy out of the Suburban Studs?

I used to listen to this 7″ all the time. I recently made a girl I know a cd to introduce her to KBD and I put this on there. She loved it.

no we didnt become teachers and we didnt kill ourselves, we just kept playing music in other bands, like THE KELPIES, SOGGY PORRIDGE, CANDY HARLOTS, MARK EASTON LIMOUSINE, although CON the bass player passed away a couple of years back on the eve of a KELPIES reunion show!
