Waitresses – Clones 7″

waitresses.jpgFrom Akron, Ohio I’ll give you Waitresses. I’ve heard later stuff but not as good as “Clones”. What to expect from a band from Ohio if not some weird shit? Keep an ear open for Tin Huye too! They did some awesome tracks in the 70’s. Check out the Waitresses website: here.

Any chance you can post the B side of this thing? Fuck, “Clones” is terrific!

Yepp! It will get reposted later on though it’s not near Clones in greatness.

    Thanks! Looking forward to it.

Just recorded that one to my HD, I think “Slide” is a fantastic song! Reminds me of Tonio K’s incredible ’78 Life In The Foodchain LP. By the way, I’m pretty sure this 7″ is also from 78 not 77. See their website ;-)

According to their website (http://www.hardcafe.co.uk/waitresses/records.htm) it’s released 78. Makes sense as it is Clone 006 and for example Breakfast with the Hueys (Clone 004) was also released 78
