A classic american punk rock record that is way better then their slightly overrated “Kill Yourself” 7inch. The b-side is record live and I could easily live without it. No, what makes this record great is all the tracks on the a-side. Everything from song length, song titles, lyrics and the production is just perfect. “The Lewd were an outgrowth of an earlier band called the Sixteen Year Old Virgins, who changed their name to the Knobs. Lead singer J. Satz Baret was formerly as “Satin Sheets,” and played in the later, non-cabaret version of Ze Whiz Kids, circa 1975. I thank you tons for this, but apparently track 2 is missing ?! Is this according to plan…nice way to frustrate the heck out of me.

Hi Boulder! Track 2 is not missing. American Wino and Justice/Liberty goes into each other so they’re posted as whole. I tried to separate them but it sounded a bit strange with a snap off on the cymbal.

Sorry I was confused now. Not the cymbal I meant the guitar. When I listen to it now I think I can actually split them up!

cool, i sold my copy years ago and didn’t have it on tape. i agree that this is much better than the 7 inch. saw these guys at my first show.

this is a great record. i like it better than the 7 inch, too… a band called VS. containing the bass? player does an awesome more homemade sounding version of “magnetic heart” which i havent heard in a while, but i remember being really good….

The only thing I ever like by the Lewd was Mobile Home…which Turbonegro do a better of. I did not like the album or the 7″. Sorry. They were not that great live either.
