    Real classic stuff from Lee Wood’s Raw Records label from Cambridge. I was thinking of putting this up on my blog recently too. This is the finest example of English punk (so-so) blended with that late 60s Cambridge/Canterbury whimsy. Brilliant.

    Man I’m dying to hear the other tunes…no one’s going to mention Robyn Hitchcock? Underwater Moonlight? This is the earliest stuff is ever heard from them…and it’s pretty damn surreal. The lyrics are layered Hitchcockian and the rhythm almost sounds sped up and backwards. Very interesting!
