Von Gam – Hasse Parasit 7″

June 8th, 2006 by The Flakes // Drummer

vongam.jpgAlmost all punk bands in Sweden had to have at least one song about fashion. Von Gam had it. The b-side:Mode. Can’t remember which of the bigger teen mags here in Sweden who had this as prize that you could win in a competition. Could’ve been “Kamratposten”. Great snotty swedish punk rock for you to enjoy. From that little town named Klippan who spit out loads of great bands.
Country: Sweden

Den här singeln är en riktig rökare!

A classic Swedish punk record here and I am the third responder. Such is the strange reality of classic punk records as this one. Some of the best records are also some of the most overlooked. Just because there are only 3 responders to this record doesn’t mean this record sucks.

Yeah Renik a shame that not more people have commented here which reminds me that I need to clean this up and repost it.

Or let your dear friend Martin do it…

Did Von Gam have a track on one of the very early Xcentric Noise cassettes? Some other early 80s comp? I remember their name from LONG before I actually bought any non-UK punk – perhaps in Bullet records pioneering mail order advert in Sounds in the very early 80s. That was the 1st place I saw non-UK Euro punk advertised for sale in the UK.
