Fuck that old shit! Here’s some more temporary great, noisy and sloppy Hardcore that I got from the bass player Michael Troutman who was a fan of our old band. Prejudice as I am against new stuff(I’m always open to hear new stuff and there seems to be more and more great HC coming out: Career Suicide etc.) I was amused to hear something that I liked. To pay my dues to Michael you get to hear the one and only Violent Ramp. How can you resist lines like:”Fuck your little pussy ramp. Daddy built your pussy ramp.”. From Ann Arbor, Michigan. While searching for more on VR, I found the next info. The band has 2 members of the industrial band WOLF EYES who are quite cult these days.

Ouch! These tracks hurt my old man ears which means they’re great! Having a song about Bill Danforth, a 80’s skateboarding pro who was from Violent Ramp’s home state of Michigan, is hilarious.

This sounds like Minor Threat on acid laced with speed. I wouldn’t change anything about the sound of their music, but amphetamines are nasty. Violent Ramp is awesome. I heard Andrew WK was in this band. What do you think?

dont think A. WK was in VR but was part of 90’s Detroit, AA, Ypsi noise scene, check beast people dvd
