From HC to some old powerpop/mod/punk by the obscure The Crack. Making The Effort is a fantastic punk stomper that I don’t think been comped yet? The b-side Easy Street sound very much like Flying Again by The Members in the beginning. It’s an ok song but too long. Found some info about Steve Larkman who’s responsible for the writing of both the songs:”Records with the band The Crack featuring the tracks Easy Street and Making The Effort which were played on Radio 1. The band split amidst a legal battle with the record label…“.
