Razors – Christ Child 7″

razors.jpgThe only track you need by Germanys the Razors is Christ Child. The rest I’ve heard is quiet bland generic punk rock. But this is snotty raw punk rock that is suprisingly good beeing from Germany! Razors is still togheter: Wie geths? The b-side Enemy is so bad you won’t believe it.

as usual, peter, youre right. this is great. i had heard some unimpressive razors record years ago, and this is a ripper. too bad about the b-side.

I bought a Razors LP last year and yeh besides “Christ Child”, it is pretty fucking boring.

  3. Hamburg Punk says:

Guys, what do you expect? The Razors had limited talent but loads of guts. And some other songs are actualy real gems – look for the “Tommys Gang” EP…

  4. ? says:

Bloodstains Across Germany #2 has all sorts of schmutzige Punkrocklieder and the Razors song is certainly a good one. There’s some other goodies on the first Bloodstains Across Germany as well.

  5. General Error says:

Yeah, I agree, most of the Razors output is pretty average punk rock. But really, you should all have a listen to the “Tommie’s Gang” EP. It really kicks ass. IMO one of the best and wildest punk rock records of the 1980s. Better than “Christ Child”, by far!

  6. General Error says:

Or better still, get the 1982 “Banned Punx” EP, with “Madhouse Meeting”. Ficking great.

  8. Nathan G says:

This is definitely the best punk sounds I have heard from the land of the Black Forest. Some other stuff I’ve heard? All the other Deutsche stuff on here, the KFC 7″, Big Balls and the Great White Idiot, Punkenstein 7″, The Pack LP, Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle, Slime and Vomit Visions.
