I watched the Getting Hit On The Bank video from the latest Briefs LP Steal Your Heart. And I can’t help but feeling they’ve become a paradoy on punk rock: Watch it. Lot’s of “real” punk rockers with leather jackets, mohawks and the whole commercialised punk look. Ha ha it’s pathetic. Sorry! Here’s one of the best songs The Briefs ever done along with Poor And Weird: Medication.

On the other hand the layout of this page trys to be as punk as possible. Ha ha pathetic!
Youre right, Briefs are just f*cking BORING!!!!
Bad Toy Dolls in Mickeyland!
Why is it, that the dullest bands always are the most succesful?
Gimme the Weirdos, please!!!
The Briefs used to be so much fun. But now… I\’ll go for The Tyrades instead.
YES I AGREE, THE TYRADES FAR BETTER,- POOR AND WEIRD IS A CLASSIC, THIS IS NO WAY NEAR THAT.
CHEERS CORPUS 77
The last time i went and seen this band, they were handing our invites to their video shoot for that video, telling people to dress as punk rock as possible, and something about making people look like zombies, all in exchange for free beer
The problem with these bands (including the Tyrades) is that they seem to catch on you in no time (especially the Tyrades). But soon enough you’ll realise that as good as they may be in emulating past musical glory, there’s still so much more in the originals and you’ll probably forget about them quickly.
I like the Tyrades singer though. But I’d like almost any female standing on a stage.
I don’t think Tyrades are emulating past music. They draw inspiration from past bands but compared to many bands they manage to come out with a sound all of their own. I can’t stop listening to their debute LP. It’s incredible.
I do I do I do I do, I got packs of gum to chew.
ha ha ha ;)
OK, after being the moaner a few comments before,
I think its time to say a big thanx to you for this great page!!!
Carry on (with anything by swedens TT Reuter?!!!)
take care

I still like The Briefs. They still write catchy stuff. The thing that appealed to me about them is that their songs were just so weird and stupid.
I saw these guys with my sister’s band once. I’d recommend her band by far, though, and not just cause she’s my little sister. If you got time check out Yokohama Hooks.
I like The Briefs….don’t care.
