Ohhhh shit it’s Freddie Wadling behind the microphone again(Perverts etc). He gives me big goose bumps all over everytime he opens his mouth. I actually enjoy the a-side Sleepwalking alot nowadays though in the past it was always Jesus i betong that got the spins on my turntable. You cannot underestimate Freddie Wadlings huge impact on the early punk scene. A voice so unique and still going strong.

A bit off topic maybe but still a question many people will find interesting: do ald men get goose bumps on their heads too?
no only on their dicks! but imagen how much that tickles them little vaginas.
terrific!
Thanks so much for posting this! I’ve had a crummy sounding cassette copy of this 7″ for years, and now I can finally retire it! “Sleepwalking” is such a great creepy song, and Freddy’s singing style makes it even better. Their “Spinal Injuries” LP has some interesting stuff on it too. In an old issue of Ugly Things ‘zine I think I remember Johan Kugelberg saying that he produced a record by Freddy that won a Grammy or some kind of music award (?).
Great. For all you who know swedish, read the book about freddie called Freak. A great book.
OMG! Thank you – been looking for this for a hu-hum while (years!).
Spinal Injuries LP is available for listening on my website if anyone is keen on that one…I sure am!

One of the best bands Sweden has ever had.
Today I found out that Jesus i betong is a cover of SPKs-Mekano:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tR0kimVirQ
why haven´t anyone told me?
Because no one really cares about it! Hahahahaha…
Peter, how come this band reminds me of the B People(Alex Gibson on vocals)? They really do…the Swedish B People…
B People? Man, WHO CARES about that group?!?!? Ooofff.
Not QUITE a cover, but close. Where did the youtube guy get his numbers on how many of those SPK singles were pressed. More like 200 copies each, TOPS!!!
Cortex themself admits it´s a cover. Altered yes. But still a cover.
