Mind Games - Sorry About That Chief! 7″

August 2nd, 2006 at 1:54 am

mindgames.jpgAs heard on one of the best compilations that’s been released the last years: Staring Down The Barrel LP 12″. The Mind Games from California. Here’s the info from the aforementioned compilation:”Hiding inside a cheesy pic sleeve(complete with OBI strip) lurks this 45 of Godzilla-like-proportions. This punked-out-homeage to “Get Smart” was pressed in a tiny edition of 100 copies and was unknown to collectors until recently.”.

Sorry… is a raw punk classic while the flip is an obnoxious art punk ditty with a great blobbing sound through the whole track.

Thanks for the post and the plug. I’m the guy on the write and wrote the B-side. Doug, my brother is on the left and wrote “Sorry About That Chief!” The B-side came from an old commerical. I also was in charge of the cheesy cover. :)

    Hi James and Spice,
Are you guys still in the La Habra area? Ever play with the Tazers or Vectors then? Pretty cool record!

Belated thanks and no, don’t recall playing with those bands but then again we did not play too often.
