Grisen skriker was the headlining act at the first punk gig I went to in spring 1979. I loved them and I played this their first record to death.
The TV Eye // Drummer and I once dressed up and played on the streets of Linkoping equiped with two acoustic guitars and Sextiofem was in our set. I still remember this old lady that asked us over and over to play Sextiofem(65 a song about being that old and have nothing to live for). It was great but somewhat sad since I think the lyric reflected exactly how she felt.

Damn, I love this EP!! And even better- it’s Swedish! Funny story about holding a concert for that old lady. But what happened on their other EP? It’s a letdown compared to this one. I wonder how the handful of unreleased tracks sound on the Grisen Skriker reissue CD.

this record is so fucking awesome. i downloaded it and played it 100’s of times. keeps sticking in my head. so simple yet so melodic…aarghh
would love to hear that Mogligsvamp song too…

Without a doubt one of the best, funniest and anarchistic punkgroups of the early Swedish punk years. Awesome live ! Punx 4 real, no posers!!

Awesome! Finally a song that I knew “back in the day.” “Ett tusen punks” was on the ROIR “World Class Punk” tape comp that I bought 23 years ago. A lot of great stuff one there & this is a great song, too.
