The Rousers - Rock N Roll Or Run 7″

The Rousers first 7inch Magazine Girl was posted in the beginning of july in case you missed it. Here’s Rousers fourth 7inch and is up there with their first release wich is a sign as good as ever that this was a band to count on if you’re into well crafted powerpop. At the same time I’m amazed at how bad songs they could spit out as on the flip here.

Get Out Of My Show

Wow! I’m surprised anyone doesn’t like the B side to this one. “Get Out of My Show” is one of my favorite “powerpop” tunes. Maybe it’s a little melodramatic, but I think it’s fantastic–better than the A side (though I do agree the A side is good). It’s not so different from the A side. I think you should post it and let everyone judge for themselves. Not a big deal, of course…

rock’n'roll or run is one of the best powerpop songs i have ever heard including “i don’t mind” of Buzzcocks…

The “Treat of the new beat”-album is one of the best too.

Missed this one back when you posted it… I remember hearing this on the radio a number of times back in ‘80; I knew it was the Rousers because someone’s shouting their band name at the beginning (how cool is that!)(how come no one else has been doing that, apart from old Edison wax cylinders?), but it took me ages to find out which song it was. Great tune, great sound!
