This is a re-post from March the 25th 2006. Added more scans and Heartbreaker.
Don’t know much about these guys except they where from New York. Got this awesome 7″ in a trade with Justin at collectorscum.com if my memory serves me right. Heartbreaker is equally great so all in all this is a solid release that seems to be very hard to find. Enjoy!

This is great…
Havent someone covered this on the garage punk scene? I seem to have heard it before.
Great Site!
Hey, just wondering if you could post the b-side “Heartbreaker.” If I remember right that song was decent too. Yes the New Bomb Turks do a good cover of this song.
Maybe I’ll post the b-side someday since it’s just as good as Action.
Not knowing fuck-all ’bout anything outside the UK, I left this (cheap) in a shop here in Holland two years ago, only to see one of the big clued-up Euro collectors snaffle it and instantly sell it for immeasurable $$$$. I need to go on a course: ‘non UK punk, for dummies’.
THANKS!VERY HAPPY!!! I Like Knots! mu favorit song Heartbreaker!
thanks a lot.loved the song action and look forward to heartbreaker
Nice music for nice people; I like “Action” a little bit better.
SPLASH 4 covered KNOTS “Action” from their 3rd 7″ B-side in ’96!
KNOTS is one of the best NYC Punk 7″, ever!
great 45… never heard of this one.

Thanks for stopping by Joey. And THANKS for the great tunes. Japans 1977records have re-issued it. Don´t you know that?
yeah but they never sent him a copy and sold them all. when they licensed it joey thought it was a joke he was in a very desperate situation having lost all his belongings waiting for disability needless to say he got pennies thinking no one would be interested .
Joey Pinter, guitarist for Knots, used to be in The Waldos with Walter Lure. Knots were almost signed to Sire Records.
