Marty Burke or BURKO as he was known
HATED this band with a passion.
Too many drugs and too many fall outs MR BURKE !!! mmm
So this is the way it was.... RAZAR a covers band they finally wrote some tunes to survive But sadly.. boo hoo
FAILED.
Self promoted as the FIRST PUNK BAND IN BRIS
Truth is 100years after The saints and infamous LEFTOVERS

Internationally the Go-Betweens are considered along with REM, the Pixies and Smiths one of the quintessential cult bands of the '80s. Although they wrote and performed music that seems tailor-made for radio, radio largely ignored them, and at home in Australia particularly they never crossed the line from cult band to sales or airplay status. For most of their career and in the aftermath, the Go-Betweens were and are one of rock’s best kept secrets.
so Mr Burke where is your music and your self promo history NOW !!! mmm

Marty Burke. What a WANKA IS HE DEAD YET !!
SELF PROMOTIONAL EGO SPEED FREEK

ANY PUNK BAND THAT HAS A TOWN HALL PROMOTION IS A DEAD SET WANKA

HE Related to the show and was really cool of his catalogue full of pictures of himself the members of the band that talked about him in the early (non status qua time) in the Brisbane cover band punk scene.

30 years ago I played in this band. Despite the reunion show in 1988 and the probably well sledged museum piece in 2004, I do not regret it. Hell, a youth well mispent. Not sure why I even googled it tonight, but I was shocked by the response. I will agree with one comment which was that Bob was the talent in the band (damn it why did you wait so long to kick in) but Greg was a great drummer too. And for god's sake, we just came from a time when it was good to be alive. No disrespect meant to our peers passed.
