Sack O Woes - Baby, I’m Born Old E.P. 7″
October 10th, 2006 at 10:09 am
I’ve always had a hard time with so called garage punk. Just too damn generic most of the time. New Bomb Turks? Please! Sack O woes on the other hand whom I guess could be put into that narrow gengre? Or maybe not. They’re too good for that! Let’s just call it Punk Rock.
Niels and Joost from SOW played in Gepopel. And just as Gepopel had IT when it came to Hardcore Sack O Woes has IT when it comes to playing engaging, frantic punk with carefull attention to arrangement details.
Why haven’t Sack gotten more attenition then? Sorry Niels but I guess it’s the sleeves. They’re really awfull. Except for their latest one White Out(posted some months ago) which is silk screened and looks really nice.
I swear that people will be looking for Sacks releases in 10 years time. This is their second 7inch. And hold and behold as you can hear on their latest White Out they seem to only getting better and better!

Not generic? They sound like a third rate tuneless Humpers. I will bet that in 10 years people in general WONT be collecting their records. As for The New Bomb Turks, they rule.Generic? How about SIGNATURE SOUND bitch. Dragstrip Riot blows these tracks away.
