Second and last release of the original line up of swedens Kriminella gitarrer. Not as raw production wise as their first blaster Vardad kladsel nor the less equally great.
Those guitar melody lines is something for the new breed of emo bands to pick up on. Simple and not as winy as for example My Chemical Romances or Panic At The Disco extremely annoying licks. Do I glorify the past? Allways!

I really love the ending of Silvias Unge. The record sleeves were also better in the old days. They sure could pose. Ja Jävlar!!

Fuck!!! “Silvias Unge” has been one of my favorite Swedish punk songs of all time for many years! The guitar playing is so mean and vicious sounding. In an old issue of Ugly Things ‘zine from ‘95, Mr. Kugelberg said that “Silvias Unge” was not on the same level as “Vardad Kladsel”- damn, he was wrong, wrong, wrong!!! I was very lucky to find a pretty cheap copy of “Silvias” about 5 years go in dead mint condition. Cumstains across my record collection!!!!

It´s the sound of “Aggroculture”. Very common in the south of Sweden.

Why is old sweden punk so raw and well…so punk rock sounding. So great! As compared to other countries most of the Swedish punk bands were way better in this period (1977-1981). Even when I hear PF Commando I think they had hardcore down before it became popular in the US. And when I see pics of the actual members many times they look quite normal with sometimes even long bangs and hair and stuff and bellbottoms. Well I can’t deny the mainstream trend at the time but the music is maybe too punk rock for the image. Just great! -Tom

Also SKAMS 7EP is killer! You ought to post the other songs. To me that band almost sounds like oi, with maybe some Sham 69 influence or something but with a harder street punk edge. I have only crappy versions from KBD 22 (?).

more Swe-genuis from 78′..primitive,catchy..just a shame these guys didnt make a full LP of stuff..she sure has nice clogs too..thanks agaion for the ripper!
