This is a re-post from March the 28th 2006. Added more scans and Killer Man.

One of the best vinyl released in 1977. The sleeve is just fantastic. And just as the sleeve promise the two songs that these frog eaters delivers are fantastic too. If I have to choose one of these killer tracks I’ll go with “Radio Flic” so that’s what you’re getting here. Now go eat snails and buy some French Fries OPS! I meant Freedom Fries.

Remember hearing these guys on the infamous Ny Vag radio show in the early 80s. A great show that was hosted by Jonas Alhmqvist singer in Leathernun and fanzine editor of Anarki & Kaos. I don’t know why but at least for me this record was quiet hard to get hold of back then. I knew they where from Visby/Gotland but couldn’t find it anywhere.

The title track is a great punkypowerpop mosher that drips of so much of that typical swedish popypunk sound that was inherited from Ebba Gron and the likes. I guess it would sound even better to the non swedes in case they could grasp the incredible great lyric to Sa javla svensk.

Formed in 1979 and split up in 1984. Produced by Peter Byx and Kai Martin from Kai Martin & Stick.

Suburban Reptiles - Saturday Night, Stay At Home 7″

New Zealand punk ain’t something I hear everyday. We’ve posted Spelling Mistakes and the more New Waveish Split Enz before. Here we have Suburban Reptiles with a bad ass record that I heard for the first time today. A haunting guitar melody and some mysterious synth sounds that fades in here and there makes Saturday a true keeper. Voted as the best song of the 20th century in 2003 on that little Lord Of The Rings iland. Oh yeah that track can also be found on the infamous AK79 compilation.

The flip 45 Single is just as great but more of a traditional punk rock ditty. Produced by Philip Judd from the hated and beloved Split Enz.

Rumored to have a pressing run of 200 copies. Sorry but a New Zealand rat have taken a bite on my sleeve. VERY common among them rats. THANKS AWESOME! SHRED ON!!

Here’s some dumb and raw true KBD punk from Holland. Why did we name this blog Killed By Death Records? Ha ha it sucks. Anyway now we’re stuck with it. And you know it was just a matter of time before someonelse started a blog with that name and would probably post worse records than we do.

Back to Molesters a band who I know nothing about except that they’re from the country of dope heads. Niels? Any information?

Alter Ego - Sandy E.P. 7″

This post is dedicated to Andreas Svensson aka EA from the band I play in. He’s easily the best temporary song writer in Sweden at the moment. And of course criminally underrated. When I first heard Sandy I immediatly thought about him and that it could’ve been a composition crafted by the guy.

Alter Ego was formed by Geoff “Lip” Danielik after the more famous Arthus Dilemma had split up. Thanks to Italys Backstreet Records/Rave Up we finally got to hear these amazing tracks. Buy it now: http://www.petrosh.it/raveup.

Listen to this! What does it sound like? Yeah yeah it sounds like Hardcore but what else? Does it sound like any other band? No it dosen’t. Here’s a proof that the so called Hardcore gengre haven’t evolved. It went Devo way. Devolution.

Ha ha it incorporated metal you say? Yeah it did. And what did it lead too? All the jooks went to the HC scene and it all started to suck bad both music and attitude wise.

“Messing up our scene, wasted human beings. Lost their ticket to go, to the AC-DC show(nudge nudge Erich). Can’t see the future, only the past(nudge nudge me). Angry and confused, the world moves too fast. Rednecks, Rednecks out for blood (x4). They didn’t get enough oxygen. When they were born. Only enough life in their heads to grow their hair long.” From Redneck. Genious? Genious!

C.I.A. posted before and Reflex From Pain members went on to form 76% Uncertain. Pick up their live stuff posted sometime ago.

I first heard this at Strange Reaction. And liked it. But it wasn’t until my new found killer shreds farming in Hitlers barn master of good evil Erich/Good Bad Music uploaded the Texas compilation Are We Too Late For The Trend that I realised that I loved this band. Badly.

The track on the aforementioned comp may be the best Plastic Idols track I’ve heard so far but this comes in close second place. In the band we have no other then the famous Al K.Trazz on vocals and guitar! First release out of two. The second effort coming up shortly. Oh yeah they’re from Texas. Yiha!

Machines - True Life E.P. 7″

machines_front.jpgmachines_back.jpgmachines_label_a.jpgmachines_label_b.jpg

This is a re-post from April the 8th 2006. Added more scans and recorded it from the original vinyl. Notice the difference from the boot. The boot is rawer and they normalised everything. And that is revising history. Come on boot guys are you David Irving of punk rock boots? Here the sound goes up and down. Fades in and then fades out a little in the middle parts on some songs etc. A great mess!

One of the best punk rock 7inches from UK ever. I wish I knew anything about this band but I don’t. A pressing of 500 and is on many collectors want list and for once I understand why.

Re-issued a couple of years ago without the original sleeve. And now Detour Records have made yet another reissue: grab it! From the back of the sleeve: Recorded in 1/2 hour, at 8 quid and hour.

Kriminella Gitarrer - Silvias unge 7″

Tuesday, November 7th, 2006

kg_silvia_front.jpgkg_silvia_back.jpgkg_silvia_lable_a.jpgkg_silvia_lable_b.jpg

Second and last release of the original line up of swedens Kriminella gitarrer. Not as raw production wise as their first blaster Vardad kladsel nor the less equally great.

Those guitar melody lines is something for the new breed of emo bands to pick up on. Simple and not as winy as for example My Chemical Romances or Panic At The Disco extremely annoying licks. Do I glorify the past? Allways!

Year: 1978
