Misfits are great but over hyped. Don’t need to tell you much since you can find anything you wanna know about them on the net. This is a quality bootleg made by some Japanese in 1986. Anyone got the original to compare the sound quality?

THE FISHTITS!!!!!!! The first 2 7″s after “Cough/Cool” (compiled on the “Beware” 12er) are are AWESOME!!! “Attitude” and “Last Caress” are up there with the immortals of music!
My first impression of the boots quality: Sounds good. I’m not sure, but maybe it’s a tick too fast. Will rip mine and send it.

I know some people who poo-poo the Misfits because of how popular/well-known they became years after they broke up, but man they put out some great records. The “Bullet” EP is probably the best thing they did and one of the best punk records of all time. Danzig could really sing his ass off.

I know maybe this is probably obvious, but all this material was released as the missing first LP Static Age, about, say, 10 years ago.

The MISFITS RULED in the Day & I was lucky enough to see them in ‘82 … Yes, I am old, but they rocked it & the Necros opened for em back in the day. Now to today –I saw ‘em just recently at Fiend Fest 2006 & to be honest I wasn’t expecting much…but I was pleasantly surprised -Jerry does a decnt job sounding like Glen & they rocked it. Robo is still amazing. I do wish they would have a reunion tour –I think they’d clean up & really make some real money that they DESERVE !!

the misfits is one of the bestest punk rock band there is!!the lyrics are so unique and original.i can’t deny that some of ‘em are quite absurd,but who gives a shit!it entertains me!is there any other band in this world which sings this kind of lyric,”i have something to say.i killed your baby today,but it,doesn’t matter much to me,as long as it’s dead!” hahahaa.the misfits rocks the inner demons inside of me!

I have this boot along with the Better Dead On Red version. Only wish I could compare it to the original 7″. Have you seen what they sell for now?…Unreal! They are far from “over hyped”, just getting the respect they should have got back in the day! …Cheers
