The Broncs – Tele-K-Killing E.P. 7″

Thin and infectious. “Reason to whine because I don’t have a girl that I can call mine.” something for the emo kids to pick up on. Tele-K-Killing is the standout track but for some reason I like the extremely silly Reson To Whine alot too. Despite the ordinary rock n roll chords it has something that takes a hold of me deep inside. Am I a raggare deep inside? Maybe. Part Of The Problem I can do without. But maybe you can’t so here you have it.

Cleveland’s Broncs were ex-AK-47 and pre-Faith Academy: Tim Allee had also played with the Pagans

The sleeve you see here is the second press. Never mind the second press here’s the first press.

raggare? Meduza sucks balls., this is nothing like that at all, this record rocks.

I grew up in Cleveland where the Broncs were from so I always like to hear bands from there. But this EP is definitely not one of my favorite Cleveland records but it’s so-so. Eh. I’ve listened to this EP a lot over the years but the only track that really grabs me is “Tele-K-Killing” (the guitar intro is the best part of the song I think). “Reason To Whine” is too whiny for me and should not have been on a KBD comp (see KBD #666). I know who put that comp out so I should have some words with him.

  3. Tony says:

Maybe some of you are “reformed raggare” :)

  4. The Flakes // Drummer says:

Q: Are we not men? A: We are raggare.

  5. Jerk Ass says:

raggare is a bunch of motherfuckers. Who did that song? Rude kids?

  6. behjan says:

    tony,
please don’t be too strong with its inclusion on vol.666

“Part Of the Problem” is the best track by far, amazing artpunk squarely in the Clevo tradition.
