I have had a copy of this since about 1980/1 . I bought it at Rockinghorse records in Brisbane, I remember the bass player from Razar worked there in those days and they had a small box of them on the counter. Wonder what ist worth these days??

This was a hard one to find if you missed the initial release, although I picked up a copy at a 4ZzZ radiothon in Brisbane in about 1983 when the band uncovered a number of unsold copies they had forgotten about. So they set up a stall and flogged off the rest. Although I never saw any copies of the ones that came out with the cover years later.
A classic ep from the era.

Shutdown Countdown was a response to the long running ABC tv programme that promoted top 40 hits during the late seventies, early eighties.Several Australian punk bands did make it onto the show to perform "live" ie, Teenage Radio Stars,LaFemme, Scientists and Boys Next Door but had to mime, change lyrics or perform cover versions. The epee was freely available in 1979 but have never seen a copy secondhand. It is also avialable on the Murder Punk Vol 1 compilation
