This is a repost from April the 1th 2006. Added more scans, re-recorded and uploaded all the tracks.
Thanks to Jimmi Quidd(vocals) the Bad Brains was able to record “Pay To Cum” during their time in NY in 1979. Quidd took money out of his own pocket to finance the recording that wasn’t released until 1980. Quidd also produced “Nine Toes Later” by The Undead(ex Misfit member). The title track is a great up beat punk/powerpop thrasher. Jimi died in 1990. Thank you Jimi for this and the Bad Brains.

In reply to your comment on our page on the “Le Ritz” single, actually it didn’t come from your blog. It came from our own personal collection of CD’s. We always give credit where credit is due, but in this case, it does not belong to you.
~PUNK NOT PROFIT
Thanks for posting this one. Always wanted to hear the b-side. Both tracks are killer.
Comment on your blog? Hmm, can you check the IP?
The Bad Brains 7″ and the Undead first 7″ are truly classics. This is not too bad. I had no idea that Jimmi had died. What a shame, but what a legacy to leave behind. RIP
Beats Undeads record with miles. great stuff!
aww fucking god,
thanks a LOT!!!
2 killer songs and one of the best ps!
Their retrospective LP, ‘Return Of The Dots,’ kicks major ass too.
this is so awesome. My father is the bassist and he plays his songs and records all the time. i looked up his band on Google once, and this site came up. this band is truly amazing.
Say hello to your dad and let him know what a great record he did!
Also, it was my dad’s equipment and my dad’s money that went into the Bad Brains’ production. So a change in credit, alongside of Jimmi would be appreciated. =)
Leigh is my dad too and he recorded new songs with rick who wrote alot of the songs
I know the Model from the cover album….She is my good friend….Still SEXY!! You go girl Valerie P!
Jimmi produced our first album back in Berlin in 1985. I learned a lot from him and more than that he was a great guy to hang out with.
