One good thing happened today: we celebrated the swedish national day today so I was free from work. The bad thing is that one of the oldest punk rockers in Sweden have died: Povel Ramel. He passed away just 85 years old. A shame! No one have mastered the swedish language in such an amusing way he did.
So what now? Well, I just have to fill a request for one of the most dedicated commentators here namely Tony. Here it is sweetheart. The second and last 7inch from Kippans Noise. Stopp! is very typical sounding swedish punkypowerpop with a hint of some backbeat guitars thrown in. The real treat is the b-sides Rudolf. Could just as well been on their debut. Great swedish punk that you’ve probably learn to love now if you didn’t before.

I really like the A-side even if it sounds a lot like “The Passenger” in the intro. You should post the 3 songs they had on Svensk Pop as well as they are really great as well. One of my favourite band when it comes to swedish punk and criminally underrated.
