Oh no! The Swedes are involved again. This time it’s Eric Lindgren who lent his minimoog to Elektraflesh in 1980. I’m glad he did cause Broken Trust is a pulsating and danceable hit. The lyrical content would fit any emo band today except they wouldn’t blame the mass media for their broken relationship. Take note that Phil in Plash took the photo of the front sleeve. Ejected Rejected seems to be a beloved song among the synth fans but I can hardly stay awake for more then 30 seconds into it.

group of post-punk housewives were wreaking mayhem with their downtown sound. Downtown Jersey Sound, that is. MP3: Suburban Wives Club, “Casual Cat at a Laundromat”. Oh, you know what could make your no-wave song even better? How about a touch of mini-moog. MP3: Elektraflesh, “Broken Trust” Once, the Bay Area Black Panthers demanded that Bobby Seale be set free – with music. MP3: The Lumpen, “Set Bobby Free”. It was also a good time to let loose your natural hairstyle
Aces man!
I borrowed some of by dads disco clothes and danced the night away with this one. I have to return the gold chain I proudly wore around my neck, today…and I thought I hated disco? No comment.
This made me think of the James 7″ that also had the cover taken by Phil in Phlash. The James 7″ would also be post worthy. Great song with La Peste as the backing band.
Nice nice nice!
the a side rocks
@Jay You should be glad it wasn´t a pearl necklace.
@SwePete…I gave that to my wife.
Jay! You are a sweet and loving man! I´ll think I will give my wife the same! ;)
You do that Pete…it is great for the relationship!
