The fact that this was posted 1 year ago over at Good Bad Erich needs to be celebrated with this repost including all the scans. As you all know Stains moved to SF and became MDC.
One of my highlights in my career as the drummer for Swedens Raped Teenagers was when we opened up for MDC in Stockholm 1987. MDC came in and was all over the place except for Dave that I was able to talk a little to and seemed mentally stable and physically fit. The bass player kept asking for pot and was one hell of a guy when it came to yoga. I was amazed at how he could bend his legs when he did some yoga right before the gig. They where also very supportive and told us we kicked ass. We had our bald headed, skinny violinist Lachen with us that didn’t seem to be appreciated by all the studs and mohawks punk. But we rocked and left them with an impression that you can use violin in HC if you want to.
It’s a new year coming and remember that we all where born to die!!!

Gospel according to me:
Raped Teenagers = position 4 on the “All Time Top 5 Swedish bands Ever”
(Anti-Cimex takes the 1st, Mob 47 [with associated bands] 2nd, Totalitar 3rd, and 5th position spread across the likes of varied bands such as Missbrukarna, Huvudtvatt, Crudity, Rovsvett etc etc etc).
Just in case this was not clear before. LOL!
Gott nytt pa dig!

I just made a comment on Good Bad about this post. Thanx to you as well for posting this, it’s good classic music. This is the first time I’ve made a comment on your site even though I’ve been visiting for several months (sorry). Thanx for all the work you’ve done here. I didn’t know you were in the Raped Teenagers, I really dug you guys back in the day.

Nice to finally hear the 7″ version of these nice tunes. Even thou I’ve liked the first MDC album since the first time I’ve heard it, these versions are way tougher, mainly thanks to the top of the line production, very slick and together.
Thanks
