Two punks in their earlie 30s making music that sounds like it was played by a bunch of higly talented teen punks. You think this is great? Then you shall hear their cover of “Eve Of Destruction” that is even better then the Dickies version! I’ll post that later on so keep watching. Happy New Year and belated Holiday greetings in general! I have not had time to post any comments for several months unfortunately. “Sound of the 80’s” has always been my favorite track, especially the great drumming on it. The singer always sounded to me like Jerry Lewis or something which adds to the quirkiness and uniqueness of the whole EP. This record was such a total damn mystery for years until Ryan Richardson cracked the case back in the late 90’s and filled in all of the details. The story is very interesting. I know a guy who found a copy of this EP in Connecticut for a dollar many years ago. He also found the Nothing 7″, Ebenezer and the Bludgeons EP and many many others for a few bucks each, but that’s another story…

Discovered another positive about Peer Pressure. My daughter, who likes a lot of the more synth punk songs on this site, HATES “That’s Why They Call’em Moms.” I can get a great reaction just by quoting it…
