Pawel — Another possibility is a 7″ by the band Fools Apart, titled… wait for it… “On the Beach”. It was released by Greasy Pop records in 1984.

ps i have the 12″ record by PRODUCERS, it has both WALK RIGHT BACK and ON THE BEACH…They look like the DICKIES on the backcover. 5 songs in all…It’s pretty good I think. New wave power-poppy thing, quite snappy
