The Faders – Cheatin’/Library Book 7″

Sew me. I’ve changed the order of the songs. Cause I think Library Book is THE a-side. Be prepared the bas is very loud on this marvelous punk/powerpooper. Cheatin’ is a good 60’s flavored stomper with some sweet back up vocals but can’t really match the high standard of Library Book.

Library Book was featured by James/Worthless Thrash a long time ago. Visit his blog! It’s worth it. And talking about James(or Steve/LDK) I’m sure he/they knows a lot more about The Faders then I managed to dig out from Google. Which is nothing except their inclusion on England Belongs To Me Vol. 2.

  1. I know as much about the Faders as Google does, except that the first print of the book “It Makes You Wanna Spit” describes them as ‘hippies’!! So, hair wrong length, trousers wrong width and a good chances of a ‘tache or two. Great record!

  2. Jay Thurston says:

I already had my mind made up about this…powerpop??? “Oh fuck!” I thought. “This is going to be crap”. Wrong again. I rather like this…thank you!

  3. John says:

Can’t go wrong with Rip Off. Excellent!

  4. Shauna Dickson says:

So cool! My dad, Paul Dickson was in The Faders:) he sang!
if anyone has more info, videos, pictures, or anything like that… my dad and I would love to see them!!
