This 7" is one of my favorite Texas records, right up there with the Bobby Soxx 7". They get such a great catchy garage-y racket going on both tracks. Earthquake Shake is the winner but Can't Get Loose is great too and has grown on me over the years, especially towards the end with that quick bass solo. This 1st 7" of theirs was their best moment- in my opinion, all their subsequent 7"s and LP's paled in comparison and can't match up. Nice post!
