They look like The Mentors. Where they aware of them? How many bands dressed up like executioners? I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I hate you. What a complete and honest statement backed up with a killer song. This 7″ could’ve been perfect if they just had cut crap out of Racing For The Pink. Two long and absolutely pointless guitar solos that makes me fall a sleep. The song got a strong melody but 4:44???? Come on. Anyone got some info to share?

Pingback: Drunk And Armed
Hey, I was the bullitt bass play and also took the pics on the 45 cover. It was great to play Surf Music in California and if you don’t like it shove a rat tailed file up yours.
Save the humans by amputating limbs before they morph into Morlocks from nuke Armageddon! 24/7 job. No easy work.
In memory of Stan Storm (guitar).RIP.
Jack Ripper
Jack his name was stan fuller. He fell off a cliff and drowned. Did you know Ken Tillish aka gangreen?
Gang Green and the Amputators 7″
Ha ha ha Drunk And Armeds comments are trackbacks from their site in case you didn’t knew. Click their name and you get it.
One of the few records I gave away with good reason. I can’t stand it, hahaha. I had always suspected GG & A of being either a Mentors side project or a total rip off (especially the vocals).
gave it away? ha ha. great stuff!!
whats up dude, is this jon kunix?
I bet if Nigel Tufnel had soloed on it Erich wouldn’t have given it away! lol
Hey, the solos are the only thing worthwhile on this slab, apart from the nice ps!
I dunno, I like this sleazy shit sometimes. Isn’t that what punk is for, ha, ha!
Hey Erich. Here’s the guitarist from GG & A’s website. Maybe you could send him some fan mail.

Can’t a person just goof around Flakes drummer??? I just get bored. Are you still in the Flakes?? I was going to go to Frisco to see them, but the wife is going out of town for business. Maybe next time?/
Mentors were funnier than shit…these guys just suck.
Sure a person can goof around ha ha. Thought you didn’t get that it was a trackback.
Yes, I’m still in The Flakes but not in the US The Flakes. I’m in the original The Flakes.
Fan Mail sent, Scientist. Thanks for the link!
OK…when are the real Flakes coming to America?? Hope some time in the future. Cheers
i have two of these 45′s.
i remember picking them up at a yard sale on Long Island.
they are both autographed by Jack Ripper.
hope that helps a bit.
I was there GG & A’s Drummer for years. After the albums release..yes we were aware of the Mentors..great freinds..a kind of a freindly North.. South California competition of who could sabotage each others show the best. Got to Love El Dutche!! Alot of good memories and Etc. Blah blah!!

My Dad was the Original Guitarist of this band. Back in SF. He Co-Wrote it with the Singer Tilish and another guitarist ended up playing it on the Album. It was on a 45. a 7″ and me and my sisters listened to it growing up. I have pictures of my dad with the bags over all of their heads. He said it went big in germany. and got no money or rights to it.
My boyfriends dad was tillisch (vocals) :D
Do you know where Ken tillisch is. I knew stan fuller the original guitarist.RIP stan
