They look like The Mentors. Where they aware of them? How many bands dressed up like executioners? I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I hate you. What a complete and honest statement backed up with a killer song. This 7″ could’ve been perfect if they just had cut crap out of Racing For The Pink. Two long and absolutely pointless guitar solos that makes me fall a sleep. The song got a strong melody but 4:44???? Come on. Anyone got some info to share?

Hey, I was the bullitt bass play and also took the pics on the 45 cover. It was great to play Surf Music in California and if you don’t like it shove a rat tailed file up yours.
Save the humans by amputating limbs before they morph into Morlocks from nuke Armageddon! 24/7 job. No easy work.
In memory of Stan Storm (guitar).RIP.

Jack his name was stan fuller. He fell off a cliff and drowned. Did you know Ken Tillish aka gangreen?

      • Jack Ripper says:

I was the bass player from 1979-1982. I took the pics at the Daly City Cemetery. Stan was one of the nicest guys on the planet. Stan was found dead on the rocks at the marina at the Scandinavian Club in Lake County with his head in the water and a beer bottle in his hand. Some say by foul play. RIP. His grandmother would wash, starch, and iron our hoods. Kenny was a great guy. His enthusiasm for the band was intoxicating. RIP. He went on to become the “Mayor of the Tenderloin”. In 1981 I got around to reading the lyrics to the songs and LMAO for months. Kenny was tall and Stan Storm was big and extra tall with his high heeled combat boots and they would always heckle the crowd to rile em up. I would wear mirror sunglasses under my hood and be spooky. I remember we used to play “I’ll eat My Brains Out Over You”. At the break Gang Green would pull out a dyed green cow brain and start biting into it and throwing parts at the crowd. They would take the brains, rip, and throw them back at us. Brain bits were then bouncing up and down off the drums, beer bottles wizzing by from all directions, Gang Green eating the brains, Stan Storm heckling the crowd yielding his steel double edged executioner ax guitar! It was total bedlam! Oh, and the drummers aka was Barry M Deep, LOL. We got a lot of airplay in Germany and Switzerland. At one point a very popular radio station started playing “I Hate You” at midnight and kept it going over and over till 6 AM. It must have taken the commies for a loop! The green 45 is considered a collectable part of Punk Rock & Roll History. I have seen copies sell on Ebay for $100 or more. “We need to save as many humans as we can by amputation so they don’t morph into Morlocks. It is a noble task, somebody has to do it”
        Yours truly,
        Jack Ripper

        Peace and love everybody.

One of the few records I gave away with good reason. I can’t stand it, hahaha. I had always suspected GG & A of being either a Mentors side project or a total rip off (especially the vocals).
