To celebrate the arrival of Martin to this site I have to post his marvelous two man project. Think Missbrukarna but slightly rawer. I had heard some stuff on their Myspace page before and liked it a lot but it’s even better on vinyl. One of the best swedish punk/hc records in a very very long time I think. I like all of the songs but Lognhalsmottagningen is absolutely best when they calm down a bit like on Kola o stalar and Va e poangen. Martins voice is great(desperate and obnoxious) and I wouldn’t mind have him in a band of my own. On top of the cream the lyrics, for the swedes only, has heights like: Respektera stastsministern, han är ju självlärd. Inte drömma dig bort till de rikas flärd. Genius rhyme.

It’s ok for what it is but like most bands today they dont have any personality in the sound.Just way too many bands out there riding the same horse.

Agree dick. And that goes for all music genres as well: rock n roll, disco, heavy metal, black metal, speed metal, screamo, demo, chemo, dance hall, jazz and house. What’s left? EMO. The only real thing left in this sad world. Got to go I’ve got a meeting with my introverted world view.
