If there’s such thing as the best of KBD then Big Money by Village Pistols has to be included. Those two chords in the intro coupled with a fabulous furious guitar sound reveal what is about to come. And they don’t let you down. Mike Nicholson vocals sounds like he could swallow you in one bite. Incredible! The piss take of Beatles classic is hmmm fun? I wish they had an original on the flip instead.

Village Pistols – Big Money 7″.
This post makes me very, very, very sad. If there was a god, I would own this 7″er and not you, Peter. I’m sorry to say, but you already own that first Eat 7″ and I think it’s a major injustice that now you also bought yourself this honeypie of mine. Yes, it’s safe to say – this is my record and in a way, a very complicated and delicate way, you stole this from me, you lovely scumbag, you. :-)
Ha ha ha LOL :D. Ok I’ll send it over.
Cheers & beers. Up the Punx!!!!
BIG A LITTLE PUNX!!!!!!!
This is some motherfucking punk fucking rock! Cheer up Erich, I don’t own it either.
Wow! This was a popular post ha ha.
Between you and Erich, you guys really know how to pull out some gems. This is really fun, makes you want to run and jump around music. To think I was still listening to Kiss when this came out. Thanx a ton for this one.
I have this record w/ no pic sleeve. Can you give me yours?
Yes, I’ll send you the sleeve if you lend me your soul ;9.
It’s great stuff! I love the fact that it’s pretty much on the cusp of hardcore. I would have preffered an original on the b-side, too, but it’s a pretty cool deconstruction of a ‘classic’ song.
I love those great Drunk and Armed comments, very informative, keep em coming!
im having a fit of jelousy, a-la howdy doody. where is MY copy of this? when will the postman bring me this?
bootleggers: YOURE NOT DOING YOUR JOB. YOURE A PILE OF TURDS.
Thanks for the comments. Glad o hear that people are still enjoying this. Yes i really am a Village Pistol. As far as bootlegging goes, there is the LP from a few years ago
and i ocasionally reissue it on CD. Nobody wants the CD,
everybody asks me about the 45. If i had any left for sale
i would sell them. Only got two copies left. One is the copy
that is reproduced on the LP cover. And i know i have the
only autogrphed copy of the LP since i got the other members
of the band to autograph my copy when i sent them their
copy of the bootleg LP. If anybody want pictures of these rareties
post a coment on here and we will get in touch and you can see
the really rare Village Pistols stuff.
Hey Sid,
Longtime no see! How be u? I still have a copy of the ‘Big Money” 45. For the right price I may part with it. Let me hear some bids!!! I also have the live recordings of the 3 gigs I did with TVP at “Fridays.” I might post them on Youtube someday.
Those were good times. ” I’m Not Being Arty!” CHEERS, Mates!
Village Pistols is one of the best band names ever!
