Sorry for being absent. Been moving to a new flat. Hell, that’s a huge pain carrying all the sex toys and records around. After that it was time for a trip to US/Minneapolis. No Husker Du didn’t get together. Saw Willful Neglect a couple times with Prince singing. Charming.
DV8 from Chicago. Not too far from Minneapolis. Still a total different sound from the Minneapolis bands. That’s how it was back in the golden shower days. Learn To Say Goodbye is VERY Clash influenced but still sounds fresh to my ears. The real keeper though is the flip Guns On The Right. What a total scorcher. Leaning to hardcore. Super tight playing and a well crafted tune makes up for what we oldies call a KILLER tune.
Thanks to Martin for keeping the site alive. More post from him will come. And from me too of course.
