Distortion - S/T 7″

June 10th, 2008 at 11:55 pm

Here’s some distorted tunes from the north played by a trio of young boys from the shit hole Jarpen, situated a few miles away from the popular ski resort Are. Apparently the three of them managed to play some punk rock between the skiing trips, but they had to go to Norway to get it on vinyl. After this EP they called it a day and spend the rest of their days in the ski slope instead of the rehearsal room.

The first two songs are great punk with driving drums and guitar while the other two have a touch of hard rock that makes them an itsy bitsy bit boring in my opinion. Maybe they were just showing their skills after being around in different forms since 1975, but who knows.

Country: Sweden
Year: 1982

Format: 7″
Songs:
Frustrerad.mp3
En tjej.mp3

Lovely! The first song reminds me quite a bit of Germany’s KFC (”Kriminalpogo” 7″). Great, Martin!

Is there a difference between German KFC and American KFC??? I don’t eat chicken, so I am not sure…

  3. The Flakes // Drummer Says:

The German KFC has the form of a swastika and the American has the form of a penis. German KFCs taste like honey while the yankee ones tastes like freedom.

  4. Martin Says:

I was in Kentucky about a week ago and asked the ppl there what KFC in the US tastes like, and they said it taste like a freedom penis dipped in a swastika shaped honey jar.
