This is a re-post from June the 5th 2006. Added more scans, new rips and all songs. First posted by the TV Eye // Drummer.
I have a feeling that I will write this quite a few times when I’m posting here, BUT this is one of my absolute favorite records ever! The songs are all “killers” (a word I’ve learned from the older clientèle here and on various punk blogs, which means that they are very good and not that they end lives), and it’s impossible for me to pick a favorite track amongst them. The intro to China drags on for 35 seconds before the song kicks in, but when it does you’re in for a fight, 1,2, left, right! The hi-hat and kick drum break after 1,33 is nothing but amazing and the same goes for the guitar break and boogie stick 39 seconds in Chartertont.
The excellent site Punktjafs put up an interview with the boys from Stress zine where the interviewer complains about the lyrics to Du snackar, but I think the lyrics are nothing but brilliant and describes the way I feel about most people every single day. And yes, that includes me as well.
The band came from Ockelbo and took the name from their drummer to stand out from the crowd of bands with hard and chocking names (just like Sarah Coffmann, remember?). Lars left the band pretty quick thou (but keep his name in memory as he joined another great band that will be posted soon), and the same goes for quite a few of the other original members as well. Despite the constant line-up change the band managed to visit the studio no less than four times during their existence, but this is their only release. More studio tracks, a few live songs + the members previous band Garage can be heard here, so make sure to download them as well.
It might be worth mention that this master piece was recorded in 1979, but not released until almost a year later due to massive technical problems. If any of the band members or anyone with more info wants to add some info about this that is more than welcome, as usual.

Awesome post! Those other songs on the link you mentioned were great too. Any chance you can post the 1st PF Commando LP? I would love to get a copy of that.
Nice job,
-Scott
One of the best swedish records for sure. Martin, I know how it is I’ve been saying this with nearly every record.
Hi Schism, I have the first PF Commando LP and I’ve actually thought about posting it some day, so be patient. Ripping LPs are great fun if you got a day to spare…
That would be awesome Martin. I know what you mean, it really is a time commitment.
Genius 7″..melody, hooks and bite..top tractor too.. You sure they’re not from Belarus?! The other tracks are killer too..Another world beating pre-80’Swe-classic..(who needs over-important US crap ?)..many thanks again.
It is a long time ago, thank you for still listening and remebering our music.
Was the singer English? This is great!
And this 6th track showed up after a quick search on Youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9dAs0mdLCU
“Charlie M”
No, the singer is born and raised in sweden by swedish parents like all the rest of us in the band. Nowadays he’s working as a medical doctor in schools around Gothenburg. Hes just turned 50.
He sounds a bit like Sharkey though, who had a solo hit with “It never happens to me”.
By the way, it’s my son who uploaded the song Plastic. It was supposed to be included on the record but was discarded to prevent to much quality loss in the sound.
Hey (D)rummer, are you Lennart by any chance?
best
/Martin
Yepp!
Lennart, skulle du kunna kontakta mig via info@kbdrecords.com

We supported them and The Pillisnorks (Di Leva’s first band) in Febaruary 1980 when I fronted a punk band called Trash.
The Lars Langs guitar player, Ola Liljequist writes interesting articles in the local newspaper Arbetarbladet in Gävle.
I think Sälle, the lead singer, is a doctor now. I met him in Uppsala once back in the late 80’s.
This is greatest hit in my universe!
“LARZ GUSTAFSSON”
Lars Langs guitar player’s last name is Lindström and is the younger brother of the singer Sälle (Pär) who is a medical doctor.
Confirms being a Paediatrician (in Trollhättan and Gothenburg) but denies (Post august 4, 2010) any relation to Ola Liljequist.
Another columnist of the mentioned newspaper is (or used to be, depending on who you ask), however, The Love Of My Life.
A karaoke/dub version of Your Song (E.John/B. Taupin) for this editor/journalist – for Valentines Day 2008 – is the latest recording I made.
It might be necessary to point out that it´s NOT Rickard Olsson, who hosted the swedish edition of Eurovision Song Contest earlier this winter.
In the 90´s my brother Ola LINDSTRÖM, supported by the Culture Council of Sweden, released an album with Dieselkopf.
As I found a new copy of this one, I put the one posted here on Ebay; http://shop.ebay.com/javelinen/m.html?_trksid=p4340.l2562
And there’s more stuff there as well, and more will be added next week…
