Three posts in one day! It’s like the good ol’ days in 2006. Since Erich was fast as hell with uploading his part of a Really Red split post we talked about earlier today I needed to put the big dildo out of my butt and start doing my part. Erich takes the big risk of posting their not so appreciated Despise Moral Majority 7″.
While this was my first purchase when it comes to the Really Red discography I think Modern Needs 7″ is their best out of their 4 7inches(of monster cock). Their songs has pretty easy chord structures but the WAY THEY PLAY it makes them total unique(ha ha how many times have you said that). Just listen to Ode Kurt Kren and you know what I mean. And the lyrics…
When it comes to RRs sleeves this is the winner which will make you all hot for a little cowboy with a strap on.
There shall be an insert with this one. I don’t have it. Do you? If so get in touch.

with the Crowd Control 7” in 1979. The next year came the Modern Needs 7”. 1981 saw the release of both the Despise Moral Majority E.P. & the magnificently untouchable Teaching You The Fear LP. With 1982 came perhaps their best 7”, theNew Strings For Old Puppets E.P.As their final output, the Rest In Pain LP came out in 1985. Released a year after they had already disbanded, this album may not be as great as their last two releases, but it still harvested some great songs. Youth Culture For Sale is still one of my favorite tracks alo
not great in the car, but I still heard what I needed to. I really love this. I would love to hear more stuff by them… but everything else is long out of print. “I Was a Teenage F@$#up” is not for the kids, but is a great song. Verdict: Recommended to download for freehere. Portable CD Case for me. Sleater-Kinney – BBC Sessions (1998, 1999, 2000). This is a compilation of three BBC sessions, and surprisingly good for live recordings. It’s a good set list and a great snapshot of one of my all-time favorite bands.
KILLER post. I should post some RR too one day.

This is definitely one of the greatest live bands I have ever seen. Even on record, they are great. They were the greatest band on earth…ok, almost.
im in talks with the band about reissuing this 7″ around the end of the year. excellent houston punk record
thanks a lot! very nice blog by the way
Sleater-Kinney??? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. My recommended for download is…drum roll, please. The Jonas Brothers. It is inspiring and has that “I just want to crap my pants” non caring attitude. It ranks up there with the stench of Sleater-Kinney!!!!
