No, I wasn't involved with the release, but I just got confirmation from the singer Dennis Kernohan that indeed that WAS our recording from Tewksbury. I also would like to hear the other tracks we cut, but I don't know who has them at this point.

There is also a live cut "Anthem" from the Coal Miner's gig that I am on.

So you wheren't involved in this release at all? Would love to hear the other tracks you recorded if they're in the same vein as Sudden Fun on here since it's the only great song. But what a song it is.

I was the Liars guitarist, starting with the famous Coal Miner's benefit at the Mab. There was actually a photo of us in Rolling Stone. Soon after that, we got bankrolled to cut some tunes at Tewksbury Studios in Richmond, Ca. I think we cut 4 or 5 tunes, Sudden Fun being one of them. Mark Hale was the Bass player, Derek was the (awesome) drummer, and Dennis. None of the other ones we recorded appear on this record - don't know why. I eventually started another group with my girlfriend, and that's when Vince joined.

I'm pretty sure I was playing the guitar on Sudden Fun. I know we recorded it and that's what it sounded like.

I AM THE DRUMMER FROM "THE LIARS", LATER "SUDDEN FUN".

THE TITLE SONG WAS A 16 TRACK RECORDING. THE PLAYERS WERE DENNIS KERNOHAN (VOCALS), VINCE BLACK (GUITAR), JON HUNDT (GUITAR SOLO), , MARK HALE? (BASS), AND DEREK RITCHIE (DRUM KIT).
