Oh yes! Dig that groovy organ, the sweet melodies and the catchy hand claps! With this post you can make your own 6 songs mix tape of the best Swedish pop punk 7 inches ever. The 2 previously posted are of course Etiquette Mona and Rebell (like you didn’t know that already).
Released on the same label as Peter’s favorite band WBT, and more or less neighbors with Aksadarna back in the good old days when records were cheap and I was still just a glimpse in my fathers one eyed snake. And when the mighty fine label Stage & Music is being mentioned I might as well ask the most obvious question ever asked here; Has anyone heard Grandma’s Island? They released the first record on S&M and I have no idea what it sounds like. I’ve asked the people who should know but no one knows shit about them or what they sounded like. If you, dear reader, knows anything about them, share your knowledge with the rest of us and you’ll receive a full size plaster copy of my penis.

I started reading about the band and thought to myself, “this is going to be horrible”. Show why I shouldn’t think. This is pretty good…thanks. Flyboys anyone???
Haftigt skivomslag!
And one of the best swe-punk records ever! Right! You agree with me Peter, right?
According to some rumors only 200 copies (out of the original 500) of this one survived a fire, but that might be nothing but rumors. It was hard as fuck to track down for sure thou and I’ve never seen it for sale.
The cover makes me think of P.F. Commando’s “Rough Sound” EP. Do you wanna post that one Peter, or should I do it?
Sorry pal can’t agree with you on this one. Glad you posted it but I think it’s decent at best.
Yeah, reminded me of PF Command too!! It’s been in my pile of records to be posted so I’ll go with that one.
Decent at best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me? No more BJ’s for you, that’s for sure!
It’s crappy, I think. The cover was so promising.
Up for sale now… bids start at 5000 SEK!!!!!!!!!! And no, it’s not me who tries to sell it. Great description of it anyway…

I like the B side…is that a mannequin on the front cover?
It is a picture of a store window in Nyköping. The store was selling female clothes. Funny story is when Epidemi tried to get national distribution of this record they were refused due to a too pornografic front cover.
