I tried pulling this shit in 200 and 2004, and all we have to show for it is bands like fucked up, airborne toxic event, and the jonas brothers.

  2. Hahahahahahahaha thank you Peter for this hahahahahahaha.

PS: On a serious note: If Obama doesn’t get elected tomorrow, I will burn all my US Punk records.

  3. The Flakes // Drummer says:

And I’ll burn all my powerpop records if McCain wins.

  4. Clever bastard – so you won’t have to burn anything (like me) :-) CHANGE – YES WE CAN!!!

  5. The Flakes // Drummer says:

    Hi hi ;)

  6. Ay Tapeworm says:

Dudes, if Mccain gets elected, there will be no punk uprising. It’s a nice thought, and but there is no culture anymore. 60s=hippies and dreadlocked vaginas 70s=white chick afro porn 80s=hardcore 90s=multicolored windbreaker rap, 2000s=radio. Everyone’s lame. I’ll still listen to H.P. and other stuff.
But maybe I’ll stop and indulge in some persian techno shit, cut my balls off and walk around like a pissed off homeless person.
But then again, I’m just a blog.

  7. Jay Thurston says:

I have the greatest idea for both Erich and Peter. No matter who wins, Peter, burn all your powerpop records, and Erich, you burn all your heavy metal records. Especially those that have the initials P.C. in it…hahahahahaha. We would all win that way!!!!!

  8. Steve says:

Gee I wonder who Kafka would vote for?

  9. malfeitor says:

I think maybe Chuck Baldwin might bring out the best in U.S. punk bands even though he wouldn’t bomb anyone. Puss. Either way someone’s records are getting burned. I demand photographic proof.

  10. Jesse says:

I’ll burn down a record store if Nader wins!
    hahahahhahahahahahaha

  11. X_FAK_tor_sever says:

yeah…a world fulla bands yammering “Fuck you, we dig McCain” sounds better than Skrewdriver inspired anti-Obama metal punk.

  12. Bad Detective says:

this shit rocks harder than anything

can we get a ninnies – spaz attack post? maybe a reruns – so alone?

  20. The Flakes // Drummer says:

Reruns have been posted a long time ago. That one needs a repost! Ninnies might come later on :).

  21. CHANGE YES WE CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  22. If 8 years of Bush didn’t save punk, there’s no way McCain would make any difference, not in a long shot.
I mean, we had almost a whole decade when people had excelent current material and they still talked about Reagan. When people want to live in Role Playing Game of nostalgia, there’s nothing we can do about it, not even electing someone who could destroy civilization would kick them out of their fantasy and complacency.

  23. Jay Thurston says:

Davis from pa in the usa is “voteing” for mccain. I think he should vote for Obama, who will help him get educated and learn how to spell the word, voting. That would be a “rad” start. :)

  27. get some says:

    mccain got “punked!”

  28. FK says:

I must argue that the best music has been created when Republicans are in office. If you’re a hippie, you gotta love the late 60’s early 70’s run with Nixon in office. If you’re an 80’s era punk or hardcore kid, you love the 8 years Reagan was in office. Hell, you’d never get a band called Carter Youth!!! If you listen to punk rock, but feel alienated by leftist punk politics, go check out the website Conservative Punk at http://www.conservativepunk.com. It’s a great site that underscores the belief that punk is not about conforming to the popular view, but accepting ALL views, even conservative ones – a belief that all these poser, johnny-come-lately, snot-nosed, spoiled shits have forgotten or simply disregarded.

  29. dewey decimal says:

uhhh, FK meet davis from pa in the usa. that’s a real interesting take on the conservativepunk website: “accepting ALL views.” Uh huh, right. And Sarah Palin’s got a bridge to nowhere to sell ya. Wink wink.

  30. The Flakes // Drummer says:

Milton Freeman helped Pinochet just to show his love for conservative punk values.

  31. It’s getting a bit scary here.

  32. The Flakes // Drummer says:

    Almost halloween like!

  33. Jay Thurston says:
