Here’s a little treat for all ours favorite punk business manager Tony, as he often seems to appreciate early Swedish punk attempts. And the young monarchy hating boys in Bandage sure gave punk a nice try when they recorded this lo-fi master piece. The band sounds like they read about punk about 5 minutes before they formed the band, and immediately hit the cheapest studio possible to record an E.P. as anyone can do it! And the result is absolutely stunning of course. All four songs are mid-tempo at best, and has one of the coolest guitar solo’s ever recorded on I got no enemies. I sure which I could’ve heard what they talked about in the studio.
Should we use fuzz or distortion on the solo parts?
Nah, we’ve already had enough of that, just record the solos and I’m sure it’ll be fine!
Are you sure the drums are loud enough?
Who cares! Have you ever heard of anyone who listens to the drums anyway?
Should we sing about anarchy?
Nah, that’s just too much, we’ll sing about killing the royal family so that Sweden can be a republic instead.
Are you sure the sound levels are supposed to go up and down like that?
I’m sure no one will notice, so don’t worry about that!
