The Atoms came out of the music scene based around The Elgin pub in Notting Hill / Ladbroke Grove in West London...

The Atoms were formed by ex-members of The Derelicts (a mid-70's 'Pub Rock' band) and The 101ers (who had featured Joe Strummer), along with members of PragVec and Keith Allen (who had been hanging around the bands Page 3 / Living Legends in Cardiff before moving to London. After being arrested in the 1976 riot in London which inspired 'White Riot' by The Clash, he went on to be involved in the Tesco Bombers before becoming an 'alternative comedian' and actor)...

The back of the sleeve thanks Barbara Gogan of The Passions (who were based on Latimer Road in Ladbroke Grove, along with other groups like PragVec and the Androids of Mu)...
