The second 7″ from Traste och Superstararna is of course power pop, and as I’m on a roll with postings of that particular genre this will be filed in there as well. On the other hand I actually think that this one is slightly better than their first 7″. OK, maybe Space Race ain’t that great, but the other 2 songs are both amusing lyrically and very catchy musically. Farmer punk in clogs goes farmer pop, but still in clogs of course.
It seems like there’s some sort of hype going on about their LP here in Sweden as it just keeps getting more and more expensive, while the 7inches are at about the same price as they’ve been the last couple of years, or even slightly cheaper. I have no idea of why as it’s still quite easy to find, but maybe the CD compilation of their that was released last year has given the LP some new born attention.
The sleeve can be folded out to a poster, but since it’s too big for my scanner I can’t scan it, and I suck at taking photos, so you’ll have to live without it. Sorry.

The fact that the LP are gaining higher bids for each time on Ebay is really strange. I mean after all its just another pop/rock LP with some punky influenses. I think it wouldn´t even have sell for $9.99 if they hadn´t done the singles. I guess it is only recently that people outside Sweden have heard of its existance.
Not as good as Pengar in my opinion but Space Race and 9.23 are two super catchy songs! Thanks for the upload Martin!
