Wish I had the time to write something worth reading. But what is there to say? Another one of them best Swedish bands once again. Here’s their second 7inch which in my opinion would’ve been a real killer if they lifted off the two so so tracks on the b-side cause the 2 smashers on the a-side are just that: SMASHERS. Got to run. Got a book to do.

A classic EP! But who’s Johan Drake? :)
A side is great…B side sucks!
B sides the same as you then tosspot.
Uh oh, did I make you cry, you big baby?? You should go cry to mommy then…
Go fuck your mommy, she could probably use the money.
I have the Bruset comp cd, most of it is really good (got it from Bengans mailorder). Nittio procent is probably my least favorite out of these four, but I still like it. Vitt brus is my favorite of the bunch.
I wrote the music, played lead guitar and sang back vox on this one. We pressed about a 1000 copies of it and it’s kinda weird to see it revieved more than 30 years later. But I’m glad you like it. Or most of it, anyway. :-)
BTW, it’s “John” not “Johan”. The title is the the Swedish name for the British 60′s tv- series “Danger Man”, and I have absolutely no idea whatsoever why we called it that.
(Thanks to Senap for the tip-off)
Why are you guys talking about Johan it’s John ;). Thanks. Changed my lousy spelling.
And thanks for dropping by Hans A. Hope you know that people are still raving about Bruset. And it’s not just in Sweden I’ve noticed.
Waddayamean “still”? Nobody raved much back in the day! :-) But, better late than never, absolutely. Thanks for the kudos, keep up the good work!
Ya…A side is better than the B side, but overall its a fine listen! There’s something about 90% that just sticks in my head all day…I love that song. Thanks!
average punk rock on both sides. nothing to write home about…
Ok! Was just about to write mom about it.
…:-D!!!
what a nice guy! bet your mom is really proud of ya! ;-)
thank you kbd for this is a great punky power pop record la la la funny and hard rocking 7os punk rock .
fantastic a side. and you’re right the b side is so so. vitt brus is pretty good thou.
I’m going to be in Göteborg for 9 days (leaving in 3 days), is there anywhere you can find records like these still? I bought a few 7″s in Stockholm last year, but didn’t really know where to look there either.
