Quiet Men were yet another Gavle band, but thankfully they didn’t think horrible punk “music” was enough, so they added two reggae songs to their first E.P. After this release the band shortened their name to Quiet and kept the reggae groove on a bunch of 7inches.
The bass player, Sonny, might be familiar as he played with P.F. Commando as well, and Christer who played drums on this E.P. returned the favour by playing drums on a bunch of songs on the Manipulerade Mongon LP. What a nice gesture! Later on Christer played with Lolita Pop whos first 7″ is worth a post as it’s a new wave killer!
As you might remember from a post way back in time, the singer from City Kent used to sing with his dick out, which might sound pretty cool, but the keyboard player in this band took his genitalia to a higher level as he used it instead of his hands.

Yeah,No one is great..the rest are of novelty interest only!!!
Good job!!
Please do us all a favor and dont post that Lolita Pop single. Whats next, the whole catalog by Millas Mirakel?
The reggae songs are so-so. The punk songs aren’t too bad, but the original “mongoloid” is much better.
I think this is the best 7″ I have ever heard!
Even better than Exploited?? ;-)
Excellent!
I know these blokes.
No One is great, but the rest………..
