Anti-Cimex – Anarkist attack E.P. 7″

Took me awhile to get this classic up as well. You can hear it’s been played a lot. A record that was just as important as the Missbrukarna split upon release. This thing really triggered the whole hardcore scene in Sweden to get going I think. While Raped Ass is great and incredibly raw in a fantastic way I’ve always loved this one a tad more. Many things can be said and have been said about Anti-Cimex that you can google up yourself. Fave tracks: Heroindod tightly followed by Svaveldioxid.

Is this post Docent Död? Sounds more or less the same.

Anticimex is a band that I never liked much, especially this EP. all the songs sound the same and the vocals suck quite alot. “Raped Ass” is slightly better, but not much. I’m sorry, Pete. Anyway thanks for taking the time to share it with us. :-) p.s.: I can’t wait for you to post the Willful Neglect 12″!!! p.p.s.:How much will we have to wait for you to post the “Turn Up The Volts” 12″ by The Autistics? ;-)

Glad to hear you say that. I love this EP but it seems to be a holy cow so I’m all over for people slagging it.

What’s up with the pissing contest on Facebook? Anti-Cimex sounded like shit and so did most punk bands according to audiofiles so why the competition of who makes the best rips? With that said I never been that impressed by AC, which may be from my first impression of a drugged out and creepy Jonsson as a young punk kid. He scared the shit out of me. Still their best release though.
