Blam Blam Blam – There Is No Depression In New Zealand 7″

This is the 8th post with a band from New Zealand. New Zealand is still a bit of an unknown territory for me. But just like with bands from Australia from the same period I tend to dig all of them A LOT! Blam Blam Blam is no exception though there’s no full blown punk rock here. There is no… is a full blown pop HIT which leans to punk. Got to be guilty is nothing for 90% of the visitors of this site I guess but I like it a lot too. It walks around in XTC territory so you know it suits me fine. Clever and arty.

There is no depression… Is really catchy, thanks for posting. Are you perhaps on a Kiwi trip right now?

I know i shouldn’t comment on every post but i feel an uncontrollable need to do it, hahaha!! Well, this is an enjoyable record, Martin. “There Is No…” is clearly the winner, but the flip is pretty good, too. It has a cool reggae-ish/XTC feel to it which i really dig. Cheers!! :-)

  3. Thanks for posting, I’ve never heard of this record before!
